Birchwood camp is a 160 acre area just north of Anchorage, Alaska.
The venue is the perfect location for tango summer camp — there is a beautiful birch and spruce forest, a picturesque lake with canoes and paddleboards, a sauna, fire pits, an outdoor game area, dining lodge, picnic pavilion, and of course the lodge-style Fireweed dance hall. The location is safe but still relatively wild– you might even run across a moose while wandering the rustic path around the lake!
The camp also has rustic cabins with space for over 100 people to stay on-site – join us onsite for the full camp experience, and to enjoy making new tanguer@ friends, and spend time with old acquaintances.
Cell phone reception can be sketchy in places and there is no access to WiFi. Be prepared to unplug and enjoy the surroundings and the company!
